Conemaugh issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.
Conemaugh Meyersdale Outpatient Center recently welcomed Amy Walker, CRNP, MSN, to its team. Walker will serve as one of the primary care providers at Family Health Care Rural Health Clinic in Meyersdale, Pa.
Walker is a graduate of Carlow University in Pittsburgh, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing while enrolled in the family nurse practitioner program. For more than 20 years, she served as an intensive care nurse at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pa.
Walker welcomes new patients, adult and pediatric, for wellness visits, sports medicine, and chronic disease management.
“I’m excited to join an expanding practice full of skilled and talented providers,” Walker said. “I look forward to seeing patients for acute illnesses, and carefully monitoring those with chronic conditions.”
