CONEMAUGH FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: L&I holding virtual town hall on unemployment compensation Thursday

Zz

Conemaugh First United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on July 28.

Pennsylvanians can ask questions directly to unemployment compensation experts during the Department of Labor & Industry’s (L&I) 10th live virtual town hall from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday. The event will feature information about regular unemployment compensation (UC) and other new COVID-19-related benefits programs, including the end of the $600 federal weekly benefit, a press release said.

A livestream will be online at https://access.live/PAlabor. Those without internet access can listen by calling 1-833-380-0719. Be aware, however, that access is limited so officials said they will try to reserve those spots only for individuals who need them.

Participants can ask questions live during the town hall; however, specific questions about individual claims will not be answered.
