State Representative Jim Rigby will host a ceremony to honor two brothers from Johnstown who died during World War II. The event will take place on Saturday, October 26, at 1 p.m. at the Richland American Legion Post 849 in Johnstown.

The ceremony is set to rename the bridge that carries Galleria Drive/State Route 3031 over U.S. Route 219 in Richland Township as the PFC Paul O. Malzi and PFC Harry R. Malzi Memorial Bridge.

PFC Paul Malzi was killed in action on November 8, 1944, while conducting offensive operations on the Seille River in France. His brother, PFC Harry Malzi, died on November 25, 1945, following a vehicle accident while serving occupation duty in Waizenkirchen, Austria.

Representative Rigby and members of the Malzi family are expected to attend the event.
