In Cambria County 337 inmates were incarcerated in the third quarter of 2022, a 4.7 percent increase over the quarter before, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Tamir Nasir Branham, a 17-year-old, was the youngest inmate in Cambria County in the third quarter of 2022.

Frank Lescinsky was the oldest at 86-years-old.

Incarceration rates in Pennsylvania have increased dramatically, imprisoning more than seven times the number of people in 2019 than in 1970.
