Olmsted is excited to welcome leading youth ministry expert Duffy Robbins to the 2021 Youth Ministry Training. This event is for everyone who works with youth in the church. Come to build relationships with others in youth ministry, develop new skills for serving your youth, and leave with a couple of tricks up your sleeve.

Dr. Duffy Robbins, Professor of Christian Ministries at Grove City College in PA, is a veteran of youth ministry who is widely respected as one of the leading voices in youth and family ministry. He is in constant demand as a speaker for teenagers and people who love teenagers (parents, youth workers, etc). He offers a warm conversational style, coupled with a quick sense of humor and a unique ability to make Scripture come alive. His ministry has given him platforms at the Chautauqua Institute (NY), Forest Home Family Camp (CA), Creation Festival (PA and WA), the Presidential Prayer Breakfast (DC), the Christian Camps and Conferences National Convention and literally hundreds of pulpits and college campuses around the world.
Duffy graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, and completed his Doctor of Ministry in Youth and Family Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
Duffy is the author of many books and hundreds of articles. Participant Cost: $75 ($100 after July 31)
includes tuition, materials, 2-night stay, and all meals
Additional costs for the event covered by the WPA Conference of the UMC and Olmsted Retreat Center.
- Retreat begins with check-in at Groves Lodge from 3-5pm on Friday. Retreat ends after lunch on Sunday.
- Participant cost increases to $100 after July 31. Registration closes September 1.
