We have the chance for organ donation to be highlighted during the Super Bowl, but we need your help to make it happen!
Each of the 32 NFL teams has nominated a fan to become the NFL Ultimate Fan of the Year – an honor that will be announced in front of millions during the NFL Honors Ceremony before the Big Game!
The Pittsburgh Steelers Fan of the Year, Jim Zimmerman, is a donor dad (nominated by the recipient of his son’s heart). Jim’s son James, a former Marine, was a donor in 2015. James’ heart recipient, Bill Soloway, is an Eagles fan but now says his heart is with the Steelers. We are asking all of you to vote for Jim as the NFL Ultimate Fan of the Year to honor his son’s gift and share the #DonateLife message during one of the year’s biggest events.
You can vote online, as often as you want, up until midnight on Feb. 8, 2023. Please encourage others to share this story and vote! Even if you are not a Steelers fan, know this is a vote for a generous donor dad, honoring organ, tissue and eye donation and the #DonateLife cause. Show everyone just how passionate the Donate Life Pennsylvania team is!
How to Vote:
1. Visit https://www.nfl.com/honors/fan-of-the-year/2022/vote
2. Scroll down to “Pittsburgh Steelers, Jim Zimmerman”
3. Click to fill in the circle
4. Scroll up and click the blue bar that says “VOTE NOW”
