State Representative Jim Rigby, representing Cambria and Somerset counties, is organizing a seminar aimed at educating concealed carry permit holders about their responsibilities. The event will take place on Thursday, April 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Cresson Township Volunteer Fire Company in Cresson.

"Pennsylvania has now eclipsed the 1 million mark in concealed carry permits issued to residents," Rigby stated. "The event I'm hosting is merely an attempt to ensure permit holders are aware of their responsibilities."

The seminar is open to both current permit holders and individuals considering obtaining a permit. Rigby emphasized the importance of registering in advance for those planning to attend.

Guest speakers include Cambria County Sheriff Don Robertson and Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer. Their presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

To register for the seminar, interested individuals can contact Rigby's offices: Cresson office at 814-886-1055, Ferndale office at 814-536-9818, or Somerset County office at 1-814-509-6942.
