The Mount Aloysius College Theatre Department will present Junie B. Jones: The Musical for their fall show. The show runs from October 27 through October 29. Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. on the 27th and 28th, and 10:30 a.m on the 29th, and take place on the Alumni Hall stage.
Junie B. Jones: The Musical is based off of Barbara Park’s hit children’s book series Junie B. Jones. The show takes multiple of the books’ stories about Junie B. experiencing first grade and combines them into one hour packed show full of songs that both children and adults will fall in love with.
“It goes back to the new brand of Mount Aloysius College, which is unmatched support, and I believe that our role as a college is to also offer that same support to the community that we serve and future students.” said Dan Evers, the show’s director.
“That was kind of the goal of this particular show and why it’s my mission to bring children’s theatre to this area and give them an opportunity to be exposed to the arts. It helps, I think, create a more rounded kid.”
Tickets are available at the door. Donations will be accepted in place of a ticket fee. The show lasts approximately 60 minutes.
