Cresson, Pa.- Vox Nova, Mount Aloysius College’s student choir, will perform “A Ukrainian Prayer” which will feature the Moleban from the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Vox Nova will be joined by the pastor and deacons from the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, located in Revloc, PA.
“The goal of this concert is to bring the listener a little closer to Ukraine during their conflict,” said Nancy Way, Vox Nova Director. “We can understand something about a people through their music and that something will be different for each person, yet it will bring an appreciation in some way.”
Members of the community are invited to take part and show their solidarity with Ukraine.
“A Ukrainian Prayer” will be held on Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 PM in Our Lord of Mercy Chapel. Donations are requested and will go toward the Ukrainian relief efforts.
