Mount Aloysius College issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
Mount Aloysius College has announced a partnership with the Dauphin County Technical School (DCTS). Beginning July 1, 2021, students who successfully complete all the requirements for the Health Professionals and Related Clinical Science program at DCTS will earn college credits for medical terminology through Mount Aloysius College. These students will have a head start on their college careers before graduating high school, making them more proactive and prepared for their higher education endeavors.
“We are thrilled to partner with DCTS on this program,” said John McKeegan, President of Mount Aloysius College. “The students at DCTS are forming a solid foundation for continuing their academic journey.”
Karen Pflugh, Ed.D., the Administrative Director of DCTS, also believes that this agreement will greatly benefit the students. “We are honored to partner with Mount Aloysius College, as this articulation agreement will assist our students with making a seamless transition from high school to college in the School of Health Sciences programs of study,” she said.
In order to transfer credits to Mount Aloysius College, students must matriculate into a program of study within two years of graduation and meet Mount Aloysius admission requirements in place at the time they apply.
