Mount Aloysius College issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
Mount Aloysius College recently hosted a “Night in the Vineyard” dinner gala to raise funds for student scholarships. The event raised more than $120,000 towards scholarships for Mount Aloysius students.
The “Night in the Vineyard,” occured on Saturday, November 6 and featured a three-course meal paired with wines of the Pacific Northwest. David Ulbricht, owner and winemaker at SchöneTal Cellars, Oregon, provided background information and commentary on the wines paired with each course.
In addition to the dinner, attendees participated in a silent auction and themed activities, as well as a reception that kicked off the event.
“We are so grateful to nearly 150 attendees for attending this special evening and for their generosity towards a wonderful cause,” said John McKeegan, President at Mount Aloysius. “The money we raised will go directly towards supporting Mountie students with financial needs.”
Students, faculty, and staff volunteered to help make the event a success.
