Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania residents paid $13,876 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 81 percent more than residents this year, or $25,120. Their price tag was unchanged from $25,120 in 2017-18.

About 93 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Pennsylvania residents. About 3 percent are residents of other states and 3 percent are citizens of other countries.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 669 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.9 million and 573 students took out student loans totaling more than $4.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,600), 2,067 students used grants or scholarships totaling $16.5 million, and 1,955 students took out $12.3 million in federal student loans.
