Cost of college went up for all students at Mount Aloysius College

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2018-19 at Mount Aloysius College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $23,110 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $680 more than the $22,430 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 255 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.7 million and 219 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,784), 1,051 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.2 million, and 968 students took out $6.9 million in federal student loans.
