75 percent of applicants to Saint Francis University were admitted for fall 2018

At Saint Francis University, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Loretto enrolled 2,611 students in fall 2018, including 2,102 in undergraduate and 509 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

65 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 27 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and Black or African American (6 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 1,706 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
