Seton Hill Griffins, featuring former Richland High School player Mark Wechtenhiser, claimed a 1-0 victory over the Bloomsburg Huskies in their NCAA Division II baseball matchup on Saturday, March 14, at 2:30 p.m.
The contest was held at SHU Baseball Complex and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. In their previous matchup earlier that day, the Griffins were defeated 10-3 by the Huskies.
Wechtenhiser delivered seven innings on the mound and tallied 13 strikeouts.
The Griffins are set to play the Huskies again at SHU Baseball Complex on Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m.
