Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13), released a statement following President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address on February 25, 2026.
“Tonight, Donald Trump delivered a powerful reflection on the achievements of the past year. This State of the Union was about results — real, measurable results — and about keeping the promises made to the American people,” said Congressman John Joyce. “More important, the President made it very clear that America continues to move full-speed ahead into a prosperous year to come.”
“The President outlined a clear vision focused on strengthening our economy, securing our borders, lowering costs for families, restoring American leadership, and expanding opportunity for the next generation. Over the past year, we have seen meaningful steps to support American workers, families, and small businesses. Policies centered on economic growth, tax relief, national security, and energy independence are helping to forge a successful future for our nation. The American people deserve results — safer communities, better jobs, lower costs, and a government that works for them — and that remains our focus,” Joyce continued.
John Joyce has served in Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 13th District since 2019 after replacing Bill Shuster. He was born in Altoona in 1957 and currently resides in Hollidaysburg. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979.
