On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Bishop Carroll High School standout Kendall Forbes’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Midwestern State Mustangs.
The game took place at Scrap Yard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mustangs this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza against Missouri S&T Miners.
The week beginning Monday, April 27 will showcase these former Cambria County area high school standouts.
