John Joyce, M.D., a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 13th district since 2019, has recently posted a series of messages on his official social media account addressing spiritual reflection, commemorating a legacy, and warning constituents about Medicare fraud.

On October 14, 2025, Joyce shared a biblical verse: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” — Matthew 5:9.

Later that same day, he honored an individual named Charlie with a birthday message: “Happy Birthday, Charlie! We honor your legacy today and every day. May your memory and example serve as an inspiration for us all!” (October 14, 2025).

On October 16, 2025, Joyce addressed Medicare beneficiaries regarding potential scams during Open Enrollment: “As Open Enrollment for 2026 Medicare plans is underway, please be vigilant for potential fraud and scams. Medicare and Social Security will NOT call you and ask for your personal information. For more tips to avoid scams, visit:”

John Joyce has served in Congress since succeeding Bill Shuster in 2019. Born in Altoona in 1957 and currently residing in Hollidaysburg, Joyce graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1979. His recent posts reflect both his ongoing engagement with his district and his background as a public servant from central Pennsylvania.
