John Joyce, M.D., U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 13th district since 2019, posted a series of messages on his social media account between January 1 and January 3, 2026. The posts included a New Year’s greeting to his constituents, congratulations to a newly sworn-in judge in Cambria County, and remarks regarding the end of Nicolas Maduro’s rule in Venezuela.
On January 1, Joyce shared his well-wishes for the new year with residents of his district: “As we welcome the New Year, I extend my best wishes to everyone across Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District for a prosperous year ahead. The following day, he recognized a local judicial appointment: “Congratulations to the Honorable Greg Neugebauer who was sworn in today as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Cambria County! https://t.co/4sqTcbYZYW” (January 2).
On January 3, Joyce commented on international affairs involving Venezuela: “Nicolas Maduro’s criminal and corrupt reign is over thanks to the courage, bravery, and heroism of the service members who carried out yesterday’s targeted operation. Joyce has represented Pennsylvania’s 13th congressional district since succeeding Bill Shuster in 2019. He was born in Altoona in 1957 and currently resides in Hollidaysburg. Joyce earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University at University Park in 1979.
