John Joyce, M.D., a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 13th district, shared updates on his recent activities and legislative achievements through several posts on social media between February 20 and February 21, 2026.
On February 20, Joyce highlighted a school visit in Blair County, writing: “Great visit to Williamsburg Elementary with students, School Nurse Christine Ebersole, Principal Jennifer Metzler, and Blair County Dairy Princess Rylee Stultz, who is a senior at Williamsburg High School. Signed into law by President Trump, the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act,” referencing legislation aimed at providing whole milk options in schools.
Later that day, Joyce addressed tax policy changes impacting families during the current tax season. He posted: “Tax season is here — and Republicans are delivering real relief for working families. Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, the standard deduction for a married couple filing jointly has been increased to an unprecedented $31,500. We’re making tax filing easier, cutting”.
On February 21, Joyce congratulated an athlete from his district participating in an international sporting event: “Congratulations to Dan Barefoot on his impressive 10th-place finish at the Winter Olympics Competing on the world stage, he has made Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District proud with his outstanding achievement.”
Joyce has served in Congress since replacing Bill Shuster in 2019 and represents constituents from central Pennsylvania. He was born in Altoona in 1957 and currently resides in Hollidaysburg. Joyce graduated from Pennsylvania State University in University Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979.
