John Joyce, M.D., a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 13th district, actively engages with his constituents through various platforms. He recently shared updates on his work and initiatives via social media.
On June 3, 2025, Joyce encouraged his followers to stay informed about his activities in Washington and across the district by subscribing to his weekly newsletter. The following day, June 4, 2025, Joyce highlighted his commitment to addressing substance abuse issues in America. He expressed support for the SUPPORT Act by stating, “Millions of Americans throughout the country suffer from the deadly cycle of addiction. Today, I proudly voted in favor of the SUPPORT Act to continue providing critical resources for our fellow Americans who struggle with substance abuse.”
On June 6, 2025, Joyce commemorated the anniversary of D-Day by honoring those who served during World War II. He remarked on their bravery and sacrifice: “On the 81st anniversary of the D-Day landings, we remember and honor the American, British, Canadian, and French soldiers who answered the call to service and made the ultimate sacrifice on the shores of Normandy as they fought to liberate Europe.”
John Joyce has been serving Pennsylvania’s 13th District since he replaced Bill Shuster in 2019. Born in Altoona in 1957 and currently residing in Hollidaysburg, Joyce graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
