IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Service Trip Group Impacted by Kentucky Flooding

Our students, employees, and alumni on the service trip to Lost Creek, Kentucky this week were impacted by the major flooding late last night. We have been in contact with the group; we have confirmation as of 11:15 a.m. EST that everyone is okay and are located on the second floor of the building they are in. The national guard is beginning to transport our group and the residents of the building up the road to dry land. They have food and water. Parents have been contacted, and the students are with two Mountie employees including a Vice President of the College. Cell service is almost completely down in that area, but we do have continued limited contact with the group via an international line. We are sending a charter bus now to meet the group.

As soon as we have more information, we will send further communication. Please keep this group in your prayers, as well as all the people of Kentucky affected by this flooding.
