House GOP discusses tax cuts in Cambria County hearing

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, along with Representative Jim Rigby and other lawmakers, is set to host a hearing in Cambria County as part of the “Historic Tax Cuts” series. The event will focus on discussing the House Republican tax cut plan aimed at reducing the Personal Income Tax and eliminating the Gross Receipts Tax on electricity.

The hearing will take place on Thursday, June 20, at 1 p.m. It will be held at St. Francis University in Schwab Hall’s Vista Room located at 132 Franciscan Way, Loretto, PA 15940.

Participants in the hearing include Elizabeth Stelle, director of policy analysis at the Commonwealth Foundation; Robert Sloan, owner of PJ’s Bar & Tavern; and Ray Lenz, a local resident.
