The current garbage bid was awarded to Pro Disposal, Inc. for 2020 through 2022. The current garbage rate is $152.00 per year. Garbage collection is once a week on either Monday or Thursday. Contact the borough office or refer to the garbage collection map below to find out which day your garbage is collected. All garbage must be bagged. The weight of each individual bag may not exceed 40 pounds. Garbage should be curbside by 5:00 a.m. Any changes will be advertised in the Tribune Democrat. Items that will be collected on your regular garbage day include bagged household garbage, refuse, rubbish and bagged yard trimmings. Arrangements can be made directly with the garbage hauler to remove any additional garbage for an additional fee at (814) 736-3631.
