Conemaugh Health System has announced the recipients of its 2025 LifePoint Health Mercy Award: Patricia Huber-Smith, Tawnya Miller, Stephanie Richards, and Jaime Plunkett. These individuals have been recognized for their dedication to patients, colleagues, and communities.
The Mercy Award is LifePoint Health’s highest honor, given to individuals from each facility who demonstrate compassion and service. The award was established in 2001 in memory of Scott Mercy, LifePoint’s founding chairman and CEO.
Rodney Reider, Market President and Chief Executive Officer of Conemaugh Health System, stated, “Patricia, Tawnya, Stephanie, and Jaime each embody the values we cherish—kindness, integrity, excellence, and service. We are proud to celebrate their extraordinary impact on our patients, colleagues, and communities.”
Patricia “Patti” Huber-Smith serves as the Health and Student Services Coordinator at Conemaugh School of Nursing and Allied Health Programs. Known for her leadership skills and dedication beyond the classroom, she has revitalized the Student Government Association.
Tawnya Miller is the Assistant Director of Nursing at Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center. She plays a significant role in community education events such as Farm Bureau Day.
Stephanie Richards works as a registered nurse at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center. She is known for her mentorship within the hospital setting and advocacy for mental health awareness in Hastings.
